- STATLER HARMONY SET TO BIBLICAL TEXT AND STORIES.
THE CD FEATURES THE VOICE OF THE LATE GREAT LEW DEWITT SINGING STUNNING TENOR. LEW ALSO WROTE AND ARRANGED MANY OF THE TUNES. MY FAVORITE TUNES ON THIS RECORDING FROM 1977 INCLUDE "OUR FATHER", AND "HOW GREAT THOUGH ART". THESE ARE CLASSIC RELIGIOUS HYMNNS DONE IN THE STATLER STYLE THAT WILL MOVE ANY LISTENER TO EXPERIENCE THE LOVE OF THE LORD. - Statler brothers new testament
Bought this from the Statlers website when it was supposedly no longer in production. Got the Old Testament and New.
Lots of good, country gospel telling stories vs. just gospel msuic.

- Great Gospel Album!
I have been listening to this audio tape for YEARS and YEARS, and never tire of it. I am pleased that I can now buy a CD of "The Holy Bible" by the Statler Brothers. - Holy Bible: New Testament
I liked this product because the songs are melodic and professionally sung by the Statlers. I've heard of this album for 20 years and always wanted a copy of it. It is an accurate handling of New Testament stories. |
