- Jimmy Ellis fans,Buy this cd!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a nice X-mas album for your Elvis/Orion Jimmy Ellis collection. The voice that sounds like Elvis on this cd is that of Jimmy Orion Ellis. Orion was famous in the late 70's and early 80's as he had a voice very much like Elvis. He wore a mask and recorded for Sun records. He never claimed or tried to be Elvis,he just sounded a lot like him. For those of you who don't know Orion,I would suggest that you buy his cd's as he, like Elvis was a great talent! This is a nice cd overall and fans of both of these great guys will enjoy it!.
- Awesome
This is 23 church hymnals done by Elvis. For years I've been searching for a version of Hark the Herald Angels sing that I was satisfied with. i find it here in Elvis of all places, an excellent rendition. Other prime cuts are: Deck the Halls, Silent Night, Joy to the World, O Little Town of Bethleham, Away in a Manger, o Come All Ye Faithful and We Wish You a Merry Christmas.

- Y'know, there's a special time that, that comes only once a year. A happy and joyous time that we all celebrate.
This is a tribute Christmas album to Elvis Presley. It was recorded by the Jordanaires, who sang back up vocals on most of Elvis' records of the '50s and '60s, including his
. Elvis' original guitarist Scotty Moore, and his original drummer D.J. Fontana, also participated in the recording sessions. The Jordanaires re-recorded all the songs they did for Elvis' first Christmas album, and did a decent job of it, though they can't match the versions they did with Elvis. But since they only recorded eight song for the Elvis Christmas album, they had to add some other songs to this album. So, they also recorded some Christmas songs that Elvis never recorded. But for some unknown reason, they decided to have Elvis clone Orion sing lead on most of the songs that Elvis never sang. For those of you who don't remember Orion, he was an Elvis soundalike who performed while wearing a Lone Ranger mask after Elvis died, in an attempt to fool people into thinking that Elvis faked his death and was now calling himself Orion. Anyway, the songs sung by Orion here are not actually that bad, if you can get over the whole "pretending to be Elvis" thing. The final track here features the Jordanaires, Scotty and D.J. reminiscing about the recording of Elvis' first Christmas album. This is a decent Christmas album, but you are better off sticking with Elvis himself.
