Tom T. is a song writers writer. Each and every song he has written has a personel experience and feeling attached. He has been there and done that. Have had this CD before a first run signed and personalised. It was distroyed and I have to replace it. The work here contains the same heart felt emotions as all others but with a slightly different approach. It was not recorded in Nashville as he wanted to get away from the same "hat set" sound. It was done at The Possum Club in Florida using some of his band members and local artist for a different feeling. "Ships" was played at my fathers funeral. A beautiful work, as always, from an amazing gentleman and friend.
Tom T. Hall has to be one of the greatest living country music singers and song writers! His lyrics are always down home and you can visualize the story line as you are listening to the music.
