- Amazing Improvement for an already wonderful artist
Throughout the years I've owned a couple of Trisha's CD's, but I can't really say I'm a huge fan. Just an average fan. I bought this CD to freshen up my music library, and because of the high reviews. It was money well spent! Other reviewers have said better what the album is all about, song by song. I'm just truly amazed to be so enthralled by the smoothness and clarity of her vocals, the soft and flowing ballads, and the lyrics that weave stories I can relate to. I have a ton of CDs from other artists that do one or two of those things well, but HURRAY to Trisha for finding the perfect blend of all three. She continues to top her previous albums with this one, showing amazing improvement for an artist who had already achieved great success.
If I don't buy another CD for a while, it's because I'm still listening to this one! Highly recommended!

- GREAT FUN ALBUM!
A great collection of barn burning country rock and gorgeous ballads. Trisha ventures outside previous comfort zones with a novelty song (Cowboys Are My Weakness) and a celtic tinged story song (The Dreaming Fields) with great results. What holds the album together are the gorgeous vocals by Trisha- her strongest studio singing yet, and the high quality of the songs- especially the lyrics. A great ALBUM- from start to finish.

- Quality Music
When the single HEAVEN, HEARTACHE AND THE POWER OF LOVE was released you could tell that Trisha Yearwood had grown even more as a singer. There was an underlying new special something to this track. She has always been an amazing vocalist but on this track we saw her immense range, great emotional delivery plus a hats off to gospel while remaining country true. Our lady seems settled in here life - obviously her marriage is bringing much happiness and it shows.
This cd is the most cohesive she has done in years. Today many artist are turning country or claim to be country while doing country pop but Trisha is pure country thru and thru. It is in her soul and it comes out in her music. What's nice here is how the ballads, story songs and uptempo numbers are perfectly laced together. And she seems to be having more fun than ever on the country rockers here. Story songs have always been a perfect way for Trisha to utilize all her vocal skills and the standouts here are NOTHIN BOUT MEMPHIS and THE DREAMING FIELDS. With the ballads here her voice soars as her full range is put to expert use. Standouts are THIS IS ME YOU'RE TALKING TO, HELP ME with the strikingly beautiful SING YOU BACK TO ME hauntingly bringing the set to a close. The uptempo standouts are so much fun here. The title track, COWBOYS ARE MY WEAKNESS and NOTHIN ABOUT YOU IS GOOD FOR ME will have you tapping away. I would love to see her sing these live.
I'm very happy cowboys are her weakness and hope she and her particular cowboy are very happy. Her personal life seems to have helped bring her best set in a long time.
Highly recommend.

- Trisha Yearwood's latest CD
This is a good CD; most of the songs are very nice; they sound a little different from the old Yearwood CDs/tapes. A little more grown-up, soulful sounding...the kind of wisdom that comes from living life and gaining wisdom and insight through experience. Her voice sounds better than ever; rich and powerful! Would recommend to any Yearwood fan.

- The Album of the Year
All of the other country music artists should put off releasing any albums until 2008. Trisha has released the Album of the Year. Buy it, love it and tell everyone about it. And don't even mention the name Carrie Underwood to me. Cover her legs with a long skirt and she can't even get near Trisha.
