This 2006 release of two of Vince Gill's Christmas collections from
1993 and 1998 are classic recordings, enhanced for better sound reproduction. Can't imagine giving this one star as the previous
reviewer has, just read the reviews from the 1993 "Let there be peace
on earth" and the 1998 "Breathe of Heaven" collections. Timeless, beautiful music(even if its not your style, its Christmas music sung by
one of the most respected vocalist out there country, pop whatever) almost
everyone can relate to this noncommerical side of the holiday season with
the music (standards to personal to religious) and rich arrangements offered on both collections.
Well worth having in anyone's Christmas collection, nostalgic, haunting,
festive, Vince Gill with a touch of his many sides.

I was so disappointed. I didn't think Vince gill could do anything bad but this thing was practically Christmas Muzak. We played it ONE time and threw it in the trash.
