My name is Edna Gee, my husband was dignoised with cancerin Nov. 1995 he loved go rest high on that mountain. He would always turn the radio up when he heard it. He had a terrible surgury,and 5 months of chemo, he lost the fight He died Jan 1997. Ididnt know until after he died that he was thinking about himself .I have wish so many times i could tell Vince what this song means to me and my two sons.Ihope and pray some how Vince Gill will get this message I want to thank him from the bottom of our heart. The first time i heard it after he died it almost killed me but i would nt take anything for that song .I love it and Vince for writing and recording it.I wish i could know if you read this Vince .
