- GREAT CD FROM WILLIE !!!
This is one of Willie's best. He revisits some of his classic songs from the sixties, with wonderful results. The Offenders provide crisp, spare accompaniment to Willie's sincere vocals. I only hope that Willie makes many more CDs like this one !! Customer review - June 22, 2000

- Wonderful Willie Nelson
I just heard this CD for the first time and it is wonderful. The Offenders are a very tight band and Willie Nelson has never sounded better. The songs are nearly up to the level of Nelson's work of the Seventies. If you are tired of the usual Nashville product, you should get this CD. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful:

I couldn't recommend this album more. Stripped down and simple in the way Willie should be. Reminiscent of The
and its more stark tracks but also with some of
's wistfulness that lets a bit of hope peak through. If you're a Willie Nelson fan (in any of his many guises/forms) you should own this album.

Just classic Willie like we've always loved.
The drummer is pretty durn good too.
Good music for swinging on a porch with a glass of iced tea.
