Disco de Willie Nelson: “Love Songs”

I'm not a big country fan, but there's just something so sweet and heartbreaking about Willie Nelson's voice that he completely wins me over. This album has all of what I consider to be his greatest recordings -- Always on My Mind, Let it Be Me, To All the Girls I've Loved Before, and the best of all, Seven Spanish Angels (with Ray Charles). None of the other Willie Nelson CDs have all of these songs. If you like Willie Nelson's slow, sad songs, this is the album to pick up.

This collection of Willie's is just a great retrospective of his Sony material. If you are a casual Willie fan, and you want his more romantic songs, than look no further. They are all here. 'In My Mother's Eyes,' 'Georgia On My Mind,' and of course 'Always On My Mind.'

If you like Willie Nelson even a little bit, and you are new to his legendary music, this is an excellent CD to own. Don't get this mixed up with the other 'Love Songs' release, though. This one offers 16 as opposed to the 10 offered there. And the songs are different as well.

The sound quality is excellent as well. One of my favorite Willie CDs. Highly recommended. ENJOY!!!

He is one of my all time favorites. Really enjoy this dvd. Also love his SuperHits dvd. Waiting for his newest release.

It's always interesting to listen to Willie Nelson's `albums' that are his love songs. However this almost sounds as if the sound is muted, it's just not the normal clear voice of Willie Nelson - nothing wrong with his singing, it just sounds like a filter over the mike?

My other complaint is that it only contains 10 songs. His version of Unchained Melody is wonderful as is hearing him sing Some Enchanted Evening. I just wish there was more for my money here.

Willie Nelson has a very unique vocal style&sound.this set highlights some of the best Love songs ever.the way he sings Always on my mind is great.the man just gets better with time.this is a great collection.
