This 12 song CD presents Woody Guthrie singing traditional songs and a few of his own compositions.
One of the great things about this CD is the quality of the audio. There are no pops and hisses that one sometimes finds in these old recordings or a breakdown in the sound quality.
This recording lets a listener hear Woody as he sounded all those years ago. Some songs are accompanied with other singers. That information isn't given which is disappointing, but this is still a pleasure to listen to.
