- You Can't Go Wrong With A Collection of Strait Hits

You take no risk buying a collection of George Strait hits. Even if you don't love every song (I personally am tired of All My Ex's and Ocean Front Property) there's always enough great music to make you glad you put it in the player. The Chair,Nobody in His Right Mind, and it Aint Cool to Be Crazy About You are simply superb ballads.

- Strait's best records are documented here

George Strait has more number ones than any other country music artist. He's also got another one now with 'I Saw God Today' and had one in early 2007 with 'How 'Bout Them Cowgirls.' His number one hits status means he has a lot of compilations on the market.

Although I really enjoy his installment in UMG's '20th Century Masters,' it can't match this set. This features my 10 favorite Strait songs, including 'The Fireman,' 'The Chair,' 'Does Fort Worth Ever Cross Your Mind' and of course the country music anthem 'All My Ex's Live In Texas.'

Overall, if you are a casual fan or a new George Strait fan, you'll get your money's worth with this classic. Highly recommended. ENJOY!!!

- The BEST of George Strait

After years of shunning country, this was the first CD that made me fall back in love with it. Since then, I have embraced other artists such as Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and Brooks& Dunn. Among many others! A # 1 CLASSIC album that opens doors and keeps memories alive. Real down-home country that also is not too "twangy". I recommend it for fans of George and also budding country fans that like the 'roots of country' but not too much cry in the beer stuff. GREATEST HITS # 1 also is a perfect collection. He still ranks as one of the best, so anything he comes out with is GREAT, but this is a BESTBUY!!!!
