- If you like Hank - you'll enjoy this DVD.

It's pure Hank, hamming it up on stage like he does in all his concerts. Ad libbing, playing several instruments and singing great songs. It's one big party when you go to his concerts. I'm pretty sure he doesn't forget the words to songs he wrote - as stated in one of the other reviews. He's just having fun and so is everyone else. It's nice to see him at the ranch, good to see he knows how to ride and do several ranching chores.

- Awful

Hank Williams Jr. records great music. His studio recordings are fantastic. However, as this film makes clear, he is not much of a performer. It seems that he is too disoriented on stage to actually sing the songs the way they are meant to be sang. He is usually singing out of key, rambling the songs, rather than singing them. That makes it impossible to follow along with him, making even his all-time greats unbearable to listen to live.

When I saw the title, "Full Access," I thought this would be more of a documentary with some reflections on his life. Hank doesn't mention anything of his earlier years, other than he mentions, in passing, about his accident on Ajax Mountain. Merle Kilgore gives more of an account of Hank's early career, but even that is not much.

This is clearly not worth the money. It is basically a Hank in concert video with a few scenes of what he does in his personal time, which of course, are very shallow and do not really give anyone who knows who Hank is much in the way of new information.

- Good Ole Hank

This DVD is decent. I wish there would have been more singing in the DVD. It tells alot about Hanks life that I didn't know and that's cool, but I feel like this is more of a documentary than a music DVD. It does have a few of his hits, but it rarely plays them all the way through. However, if you are a Hank fan, I would say it you should have it for your collection.

- A great feature, poor packaging

I have seen Hank Williams, Jr. many times in concert and this is an excellent video capturing one of the best live performers in the business. It also featured cut ins from Hank at his Montana ranch, that showed him to be every bit the working country boy, as he is a country music superstar. It also depicts his love of outdoor life. I owned the original VHS version of "Full Access" almost as soon as it came out. I was thrilled to see an affordable DVD version that would upgrade the quality for my collection. I was disappointed a little by the way the program was set on the DVD. Chaptering does not allow the kind felxablity that most similar style DVDs do, grouping songs in chapters wit documentary and several songs clumped together, meaning you can't pull out concert moments alone, or go straight through documentary footage. For that matter you can't even pick out a particular song. Because of it's discount price, and otherwise top qulity concert and documentary footage, it is worth the money spent, but I would have still liked to see a better package.
