- sound quality?

I give this release 5 starts for content. Anyone who has been to a Buffett concert lately, or listened to RadioMargaritaville knows what they're in for.

This review concerns the sound quality. It's a soundboard recording, but it's definately raw. The liner notes say there hasn't been any editing done. Unfortunately, this is not a good thing. Most live recordings spend considerable time in the hands of audio wizards, getting sweetened up. This offering is not sweetened. Some people may not care about these things.

If you are new to Buffett and want a sample of his recent live material, I'd suggest starting with "Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays". That one is a composite concert, as opposed to a complete live one like this is. But the audio quality is much crisper and fuller on [tuesdays, thursdays, saturdays]. Being an avid Phish and GD bootleg trader, I'm tuned in audio quality of various sources... Live in Cincinnati compares to a really good audience recording, or a poor, unsweetened soundboard.

- Natives Are Restless

AWESOME !!! I especially like the "Natives Are Restless" track which was a full on production number for the Tiki Time Tour. Little known song with LARGE potential. Buffett should take that one to the studio ... It would be a HUGE hit !!!

- Love these live CD's.....

Can't get enough of these....pretty darn good sound on this one too. Jimmy uncut...the only way to go. Can't wait to see him on Maui on Jan 30th. Nobody can lift my spirits like Jimmy.
