- One of John's Best!
Though many people in the general public have never heard of this album or many of the songs, "It's About Time" must rate among John's best 3-4 albums.
Played at his memorial service in Denver, "On the Wings of a Dream" rates among John's most beautiful and thought provoking songs.
Though this album had the fewest tracks of any of John's album releases, the music is just fantatic. Be sure to listen to "Hang on Tightly, and of course, the title track, "It's About Time."
An important note: John dedicated this album to his father, who died shortly before its release.

- How about 100,000,000,000,000,000 stars
I love this CD. It is beautiful. My favorite is "Falling Out of Love." I also have that song perfored live on "The Wildlife Concert." I Am probably the biggest JD fan in the world. I have out of print albums such as "Take Me to Tomorrow" and "Aerie." There are very very few JD songs I dislike, and this is one of my favorite albums of his. The music is simply beautiful.
- Classic JD Album
Lots of old favorites on this album. This CD was shipped to me promptly and arrived here in good order.
- forget preconceptions
This album has to contain some of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. "It's about time" and "Almost a year" are particular favourites. Although it may be a shock to many people who see JD as a "Country boy" you need to listen to this album and the lyrics of the songs without trying to make them fit into the usual Denver label. I have played many of these songs to friends, without telling them who the artist was, and everyone who has heard the songs have loved them and expressed surprise that they were by JD. He has won over quite a few new fans through this procedure. My advice is to forget your preconceptions about the artist and the label he is supposed to fit into and just listen to the music and the words. I am sure that you will find much that will touch and inspire you.

- ok JD album..
This is not at all a bad album. But if you're a fan of his live performances and early studio albums (like me), it will take some time to grow on you.
