- Not what you think.....
Before you think you are getting a great deal on this "3cd box set", it should be pointed out that total running time is 76:10 - for all 3 discs. Could have been on one CD. Liner notes are lacking, very disappointing. Glad I checked this out at the library instead of purchasing.... - Nice Collection.
This is great for rounding out a country music collection, the sound is good; I wish there were more tunes included in the set. - Horrible Sounding Patsy Cline Collection.
Was just wanting to warn anyone trying to buy this CD, DON'T!!!! The mastering sounds awful, some of the songs, like "Never No More" has synthesizers added to the beginning of the song, like who was so dumb to do this to these already horrible sounding recordings? It's like they found 5 or 6 generation tapes or very old records and tried to make 'em sound better, not! Patsy was an awesome singer, stick to the bigger record company issues of this material. Patsy Deserves better and so do you, the customer! |
